Intermediate Photography starts 12 January 2013

10 Saturdays 10am to 1pm

The Intermediate Photography course is three hours a week over 10 weeks. It is conducted by the famous photographer Robert Tran in his studio in Chai Wan. This workshop is suitable for students who has a basic understanding of photography.

Robert Tran approach this class in a different way than most photography teachers. Each student has their unique creative iner self. They should not look at other's work and aspire to do something similar. With assignments and critiques given in class Robert draws out the unique creativity within each of the students.

Areas to be included in this workshop are composition, lighting, portraits, still life, landscape and some retouching techniques.

The prerequisite for Intermediate Photography is 'Photography Workshop' or consent of the instructor:

Tuition fee: HK$6000 (maximum 8 students) Enrollment is on a first come first served basis.

Robert Tran got his BFA and MFA in Photography from the prestigious Art Center College Design in California. He has 14 years' experience working as a professional photographer in the USA and Hong Kong, specializing in advertising photography. The awards his work won include: Graphic Advertising 4A Award, Apple Design Award, Cannes Lions Adverising Awards, HKDA Award, Communication Arts Photo Annual, London Advertising Award, Hong Kong Advertising 4A Award etc.
